Our Church History
I, Elder Cary G. Williams, along with my wife, Linda
Williams, have been in ministry for over 34 years. I was
ordained, July 31st 1976 under the late Bishop J O
Patterson, Sr of the Church of God in Christ in Memphis,
TN. I attended Mid-South Bible College as well as
studied under the late Elder Thomas Jennings, Sr of
Memphis, TN.

In 1984, we started a new ministry in which I pastored in
Memphis, TN. We named the new ministry, "Mt Olive
Church of the Living God." We relocated to Dallas, TX.
And finally settling in Atlanta, GA in 1988. During that
time I was an Associate Minister and a Co-Pastor in two
other ministries in Atlanta.

In July of 1998, God spoke to me and said, "
This is your
season, you have been faithful, and have had great
humility. It is time for you to come forth in new ministry. I
have called you for this day and this hour saith the Lord.
"

After hearing from God and receiving his word, my wife
and 4 children began having Bible study in our home in
late July. As we fasted and prayed, the Lord gave me the
name of the ministry, "Judah House of Praise
Pentecostal Church, Inc."

We officially began having church services in August
1998 in our basement. After many Sunday services and
Bible studies on Wednesdays in the basement, we
began to grow. We began to look for a building and God
blessed us with the building we have today.

We are now a part of the Church of the Living God
Organization. Bishop Jesse White is the overseer for
this Denomination. Bishop Hardy L Coleman is our
Bishop for the Global Pacific Diocese and Missionary
Annie L Coleman as First Lady.

We are located at 5670 Redan Rd, Stone Mountain, GA
30088. This is just the Beginning! God has a great work
for us to do. Praise God!

Regards,
Pastor Cary G Williams
